On the occasion of “Rigiglia”, the environmental protection program of the I Gigli Shopping Center, a column was installed for recharging the electric vehicles of the In-Presa circuit, located in the parking lot of the largest shopping center in central Italy.
The users to which the system is addressed is made up of the owners of electric vehicles inserted within the charging circuits of the network already advancing from the neighboring municipalities (Campi Bisenzio, Sesto Fiorentino). In addition, the customer of the shopping center can request the plug, equipped with an identification tag, for his vehicle directly from the administration of the shopping center.
The aim is to create a loyalty circuit for customers who use electric vehicles to move around the city centers and in the suburbs where the shopping center is located. The average visit time to the shopping center allows satisfactory charging levels for this user.
For this purpose, 2 parking lots in front of the column have been reserved with adequate signaling. Further installations are planned in the short term.
