Innovative solution for anchoring and charging control of the growing number of Electric Bicycles in circulation

There are countless solutions installed today for anchoring two-wheeled vehicles, from the classic rack to the now widespread columns present in many urban areas. The need to control the vehicle anchored to the column (availability in case of rental activity) and the advent of electric cycles have led to an evolution of the old anchor-only column – now outdated – into a multi-service station, capable of offering Anchoring and Recharge to Electric Bike Users, obviously registered.

The identification of the user (enabled) through an RFID tag inserted in the connection bracket, allows access to the anchor. Also on the identification tag there is an indication of the voltage required (direct current) to recharge the vehicle.

Charging takes place through the same anchoring and connection bracket. This sophisticated anchoring system also allows, in the event of an attempted theft by cutting the bracket, to activate an alarm procedure. Each column is connected to a control station, constantly updated via the Web for the dynamic management of authorized users, communications with the user, authorization, payment and alarm messages can be managed through SMS messages on the mobile telephone network.
