The new Repower infrastructure industrialized by ABB. Alternating current charging stations for Repower to develop sustainable mobility

ABB, a leading group in energy and automation technologies, continues its partnership with Repower for the engineering of alternating current charging stations. Sinuous shapes, elegant design, street furniture element, PALINA is the new charging infrastructure for electric vehicles developed by Repower, one of the main national energy operators dedicated to SMEs.

Result of the search for a balance between industrial design and respect for the places in which it is inserted, PALINA is the result of the combination of sophisticated design and the most advanced technology.

Designed exclusively for Repower by architects Italo Rota and Alessandro Pedretti, PALINA has a technological soul whose industrial development has been entrusted to ABB, a leader in energy and automation technologies. The column was engineered and manufactured at the ABB factory in Marostica, working closely with Repower. ABB’s experience has been applied to the creation of a solution with attention to every detail, guaranteeing a product customized to Repower’s needs.

Equipped with two sockets with anti-extraction lock, both of the 3.7kW single-phase type, PALINA can recharge cars, minicars and scooters in a few hours, identifying the user through enabled cards.

PALINA is marketed through the Repower network of energy consultants and at the Elettrocity Store in Milan.

“PALINA is the tangible sign of Repower’s commitment to the spread of electric mobility and sustainable development. It is an object that stands out from the infrastructures currently on the market for the care of the exterior and the potential for use also as a communication channel “says Marco Malaspina, Repower’s strategy and development director.
