From now on, to recharge the electric car it will be possible to use the coins as for the parking meters. Thanks to the initiative of FCS Mobility, a Bergamo-based company that integrates advanced systems and solutions in the field of sustainable mobility, Libera Res (ource) Light, the first easy-pay charging station, was born. Targeted research and careful market assessments have led to the definition of the Libera Res (ource) Light column – where Res (ource) stands for Renewable Energy Source, i.e. simultaneous source of energy, communication and services – which is intended to facilitate use of electric vehicles in the city.

Credit cards or cards linked to contracts with particular managers or entities are no longer needed – says a note from FCS Mobility – but only common coins. Payment is made after recharging the vehicle: only at this time it is possible to unplug the plug, provided for Type 3A, 3C, or Mennekes for fast charging. Finally a solution that simplifies and facilitates the supply of energy, which also arrives in Italy from the experience of other countries. The Libera Res (ource) Light column is not only used to recharge electric cars, but is a multifunctional tool for the city. It can manage tourist information, make emergency calls, provide a WiFi connection, do video surveillance or even illuminate a square or an urban tourist / artistic glimpse. Conceived by FCS Mobility, with the technological contribution of Scame Parre SPA (both Bergamo-based companies), the column also meets the needs of tourism expected – for example – for Expo 2015 which, passing through Italy, may not have prior access to all the cards of the various national operators.
