Public Recharge Service VE
In 2009, the Department of Public Works of the Municipality of Sesto Fiorentino received several requests from its citizens for the installation of recharging points for electric vehicles. This need was the result of a careful policy of developing eco-mobility in the area which resulted in the issuance of grants for the purchase of electric bikes for 120 citizens residing in the municipality.
The municipality was thus able to respond to the implementation of the 2007-2010 program agreement for the reduction of pollutant emissions signed between the Tuscany Region, Anci, URPT and other 30 municipalities in the Tuscan territory.
The purpose of the administration was to find a reliable partner capable of providing an integrated system operating at a high level of automation, secure (capable of delivering only after identification) and expandable with a view to future accounting.
The Generale Sistemi was thus identified as the suitable partner to provide a complex system such as the one described and composed of 4 recharging points, one of which, experimental, online located in the outskirts of the city. The municipality has provided for the use of the electric mobility service through a detailed specification.
