In-Presa boasts of having been selected to support the important partners of this project (Garda Uno, Renault etc.) for the development of important technological tasks of the Eway project. A much more complex system than it may appear from the immediate and convenient usability recorded by satisfied end users.

The Ministry of the Environment and the Protection of the Territory and the Sea has assigned the contribution to the “Eway” project – ranked 23rd out of a total of 109 projects on a national scale – which provides for the creation of a car and scooter sharing network totally electric, created in support of the “National experimental program of sustainable home, school and home work mobility”, combined with an action to disseminate and monitor the initiative.

The Eway project was born as an ideal continuation of the “100% Urban Green Mobility” program which already saw the collaboration of In-Presa as a supplier of components and integration of Scame charging devices widespread in that now consolidated Urban and Tourist development project.

The premises underlying the project are those described in the dedicated site; “In the Lake Garda basin, about 30,000 people are involved in daily trips outside the municipality of residence for study and work reasons, including university students enrolled in the universities of Brescia city and other provinces. University enrollments registered in the province in Brescia exceed 10,000 people. To these users must be added those who, again for school or work reasons, arrive on Lake Garda from other municipalities by train or other public transport. The project has assessed the needs and peculiarities of the territory, identifying the possible interactions with the other forms of mobility present and with the “100% urban green mobility” network. The networks of electricity columns and car sharing stations integrate to create a concrete reality of sustainable mobility that is easily usable and environmentally sustainable “

The result was a shared memorandum of understanding between Garda Uno and the municipalities adhering to “Eway” which gave life to this important project which, despite already having characteristics of excellence, is the first step in creating a network of sustainable electric mobility that can include the entire territory of Lake Garda and the territories of the provinces concerned.

An RTLS (Real Time Location System) identification system is also being studied for tracking the parking of fleet scooters, an innovative system implemented on the shelters.

In-Presa is obviously proud to be able to boast a non-secondary participation in Eway which, thanks to the particular nature of the territory and of the tourist users, can certainly be considered a successful case study..
