Designer Andrea Pellegrini exhibits the results of the In-Presa Solar Bike Station project
The excellent work was the result of an intense internship at Generale Sistemi which led to a complete and accurate research on the current panorama of e-bike charging stations.
The discussion of the degree thesis entitled Solar Bike Station took place today at the Faculty of Industrial Design, Calenzano, in the prestigious Design Campus complex of the DIDA in Florence. Speaker the Architect and Designer Prof. Giampiero Alfarano for the work done by the new designer Andrea Pellegrini.
The work, which received the approval of the examining commission, is the result of Pellegrini’s study experience in the laboratory of Generale Sistemi.
The thesis develops innovative solutions of the In-Presa Solar Bike Station concept. The coordination and study work at In-Presa allowed the projects presented in the thesis to be able to combine futuristic and aesthetically important design with full economic and technological sustainability deriving from the company’s know-how.
