In-Presa consolidates the Company Fleet Bike Sharing model on the Unipol branch in Padua and Turin
Few projects in the field of new mobility can boast such a long-lasting and consolidated success as the one relating to the Bike Sharing of the company fleet developed for Unipol. In addition to the Bologna and Florence stations, the opportunity for employees of the prestigious insurance company is also exported to the Padua branch via Magarotto and Turin via Lungo Dora.
An initial fleet of 8 Wayel eBikes installed in the parking lot of the building in via Magarotto in Padua allows the collection of vehicles for the movements of authorized employees thanks to the dedicated card. The same for the Turin station which adds an additional external charging bar for charging proprietary e-bikes, therefore equipped with Shucko sockets.
Extremely elegant and functional, the two installations confirm the successful model that sees in these systems real mobility aids, also guaranteeing an aspect too often overlooked by projects related to the EVCharge world, economic sustainability. The use of e-bikes for Unipol personnel only allows the station to be sturdy and used correctly, eliminating the often exorbitant maintenance problems typical of public bike sharing.
A total of 22 charging points and 16 EVbike in complete sharing for two “starting” stations for even larger mobility projects.
The characteristics of the two cities also favor the use of “soft” electric means of mobility, making the whole system particularly used and equipped. The 16 eBikes of the partner Five srl are confirmed for their excellent performance in the Urban area and the ease of use given by the thrust cardan and accessories such as the capacious side bags that allow widespread use by Unipol staff.
