Taxi drivers and the choice of electric

“There are about 60,000 taxi drivers in Italy, still few who drive a 100% electric car. Many have chosen a hybrid vehicle even if they would like to drive only electric. The absence of fast charging stations is discouraging them. The most Italy’s largest cooperative of taxi drivers is pushing instead to incentivize its members to work with 100% electric cars “

We are very pleased to share this service on Taxi and #electric mobility, one of the first projects in Italy for the integration of EVcharge systems for EVTaxi in Fleet. A report by Rainews24 that struck us in these days of celebration, unexpected but evidently still extremely current. As evidence that the best response to criticisms – correct and dutiful – to Nuova Mobilità too often unsuccessful projects is not the ideological response, but careful planning. We believe that the cornerstones of this accuracy can be: real social utility, simplicity and exclusion of pushed automation, in a word real economic sustainability. Generale Sistemi is pleased to have given our, albeit small, contribution to one of the longest-running and most exploited projects for the use of electric charging stations in Italy. Generale Sistemi acted as technological support to the manufacturer Scame for a project.
